To provide our core AI companion functionality, we collect the following types of information:

• Account Information (Personally Identifiable Information): When you sign in using Google OAuth, we collect your email address. This is strictly used to create your account, manage your credits/subscription, and save your pet's configuration.
• Authentication Information: We securely generate and store JSON Web Tokens (JWT) locally on your device to keep you logged in.
• Personal Communications (Chat Data): When you explicitly send a message to your AI pet, the text of your message is sent to our secure backend servers to generate an intelligent response.
• Website Content (Context Data): To allow the AI to answer questions about the page you are currently viewing, the extension reads the visible text context of the active tab. This only happens when you actively send a message to the pet. We do not continuously monitor or log your web history in the background.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the core functionality of the AI desktop companion.
• To process your chat inputs and generate relevant, context-aware responses using our backend AI models.
• To synchronize your pet's appearance, name, and level progression across your devices.
• To manage your account credits and subscription status.

3. Data Storage and Security

• No Third-Party Selling: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, chat logs, or browsing data to any third parties.
• No Unrelated Advertising: We do not use your data for personalized advertising or tracking outside the scope of providing the AI companion service.
• Data Security: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols.

4. Third-Party Services

We use established third-party AI providers (such as Google/OpenRouter) to process the chat messages and generate responses. We ensure that our API agreements with these providers strictly prohibit them from using your chat data to train their public foundation models.

5. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data. You can do this at any time by contacting our support team or using the account management features within the extension (if applicable).
